ART43 – Perseverance over Vulnerability

The Details:

Name: ART43 – Perseverance over Vulnerability

Artist: Jamal Rafay

Description:

The design depicts the notion of protection and care, and is a than you to the NHS, not just for this pandemic but for being there for us since 1948! The egg is a symbol of life – holding eggs with both hands shows dedication and a sense of care and protection. The hand holding a bird symbolises vulnerability and protection against the virus. It also symbolises how the NHS has taken this and many such challenges in the past and has successfully protected and cured humanity. The little birds, tree and branches represent life and growth.
